that will be held during:

The 2014 International Conference on Computational Science and its Applications (ICCSA 2014)
University of Minho, Guimaraes, Portugal
June 30 - July 3, 2014

The importance of Virtual Reality has significantly increased during recent years, thanks to its adoption in various contexts to improve the human-machine interaction and to improve the effectiveness of Information Services. The technological evolution played a crucial role to make available low cost solutions for implementing dynamic and highly interactive Virtual Worlds.

The workshop will represent a great opportunity for scientists to exchange ideas and progresses made in such field, as occurred in the past editions of the VRA Workshop in Vietnam on 2013, in Brazil an 2012, and of CGVR Workshop in Spain on 2011, in Japan on 2010, in Korea on 2009, and in the past editions of VRSAL in Italy on 2008, in Malaysia on 2007, in United Kingdom on 2006, in Singapore on 2005 and in Italy on 2004.

We invite you to submit a Full PAPER (from 10 and 16 pages) to be published by Springer on Lecture Notes in Computer Science, or a SHORT Paper (from 4 to 5 pages) or a PHD Showcase Paper (from 5 to 8 pages) or a POSTER (from 3 to 4 pages) to be published by IEEE-CPS. For formatting instructions, please visit the "Authors' Instructions" section of the ICCSA 2014 web site: http://www.iccsa.org/authors-instructions

The submission of the papers and posters represents for the author an implicit expression of intention to register to ICCSA 2014 Conference and to participate to VRA 2012 workshops sessions (in case of Posters they will be shown in a dedicated area and NOT presented orally).

Submitted papers and posters have to be original, containing new unpublished results.

X3D Consortium

One of the aim of the Workshop is the promotion of Virtual Reality tecnologies in the scientific community, with a particular focus on X3D.

Some contributions may be selected for special issues of the journals Virtual Reality and the International Journal of Virtual Reality.
